The anesthetic gas detector for caravan und campers with sensor for anesthetic gas and capability to connect additional sensors. |

- Made in Germany - |
The AMS KOMBIALARM ist designed to detect anesthetic gas. The included sensor additionally detects liquid gas (propane/butane) and natural gas (methane). Furthermore the KOMBIALARM affords the opportunity – according to the size of the vehicle and the operation purpose of the alarm device – to connect two other additional sensors.
The additional sensors are available in a version to detect anesthetic gas and gas as well as carbon monxide in a separate version. To connect external warning devices (e.g. flash signalling lamps, additional sirens, etc.) an relay output is included.
|
AMS KOMBIALARM detects anesthetic gases just in the lowest concentrations, i.e. yet before they can spread their anesthetizing effects and eliminate the passengers – reactivity. For gases buthane/propane/methane the alarm threshould is far beneath the lower border of explosion, i.e. before an explosive mixture arises. The system distinguish a comparatively very low power consumption.
The sensitivity of the threshold is automatically adjusted. |
Equipmemt features:
- On/Off switch
- Yellow LED for activation phase
- Green power LED
- Red alarm LED (3x)
- Electrical siren
- Relay output (potential-free changeover contact), 1A / 30V DC

Alarm threshold:
for anesthetic gas:
Lowest possible |
from ca 100 ppm |
(depends on the anesthetic gas used)
|
Technical data: |
Operating voltage: |
12 V DC (-10% / +20%) |
Power consumption: |
ca. 90 mA (state of rest)
ca. 145 mA (state of alarm) |

Accessories:
1. Additional sensors
To the alarm system AMS KOMBIALARM up to two additional sensors can be connected. We recommend to install a second sensor (additional sensor) even in case of a normal-sized caravan or camper.
|
 |
- Additional sensor anesthetic gas and gas
The additional sensor is designed to detect anesthetic gas.
The included sensor additionally detects liquid gas (propane/butan) and natural gas (methane).
Alarm threshold:
Lowest possible |
from ca. 100 ppm |
(deepends on the anesthetic gas used)
Technical data:
Power consumption: |
ca. 60 mA |
Dimensions |
49,6x49,6x24 mm (WxHxD) |
|
 |
- Additional sensor CO
The additional sensor CO is designed to detect carbon monoxide.
Technical data:
Power consumption: |
ca. 130 mA |
Dimensions: |
49,6x49,6x24 mm (WxHxD) |
|
2. External devices (Accessories)
In addition to the integrated siren the AMS KOMBIALARM affords the opportunity to access to external appliances – for ex. flash signalling lamp, additional siren, ventilator, etc. Hereto is disposable a floating maker or breaker contact.
These contacts can be charged by at most 1 A / 30 V DC.
|
3. Voltage-Control UC 12

H/W/D 90x60x31 mm |
|
The voltage-control is designed for the continuous supervision
of a
12 Volt
constant voltage source.
If the voltage falls below a fixed threshold value of 10.2 Volt resp. if
there is a manipulation on the board voltage, an optical and at the same
time audible alarm is triggered. An integrated 9 V-compound battery has the
function to maintain the optical and audible alarm for a period of 1 - 2
days.
|
Especially in the case of an attack with sleeping gas often the main supply
voltage of the home mobile or the holiday flat is switched off. In this way
an installed alarm system is set out of operation.
The AMS Voltage-Control gives in case of such a manipulation immediately
alarm, so that an in this way planned attack with sleeping gas can be
prevented. |
